Major Project Award – Beams Road Townhouse Development

Electrid Pty Ltd is proud to announce that we have been awarded the electrical services package for a significant new residential development at Beams Road, Taigum.
This exciting project consists of 88 luxury townhouses, extensive community infrastructure, and a modern recreational precinct, making it one of the largest projects undertaken by our team to date. The development will feature high-quality residential living spaces complemented by landscaped communal areas and recreational facilities designed to create a premium living environment for future residents.
Securing this project marks a major milestone for Electrid and reflects the continued confidence our clients place in our ability to deliver large-scale electrical projects safely, professionally, and to the highest standard. It is a significant step forward in the growth of our business and further strengthens our position within the Queensland construction industry.
The project will provide a strong pipeline of work over the coming months and years, allowing us to continue investing in our people, systems, and capabilities. As a result, we are actively expanding our team and creating new opportunities for electricians, apprentices, and industry professionals who want to be part of an ambitious and growing company.
We would like to thank our clients, partners, suppliers, and dedicated team members for their ongoing support. We look forward to delivering another successful project and sharing updates as construction progresses.

Looking Ahead: What’s Next for Electrid

It’s shaping up to be an exciting period for Electrid, with a number of new projects currently in the pipeline across commercial, government, and community sectors.
As our workload continues to grow, we’re planning to expand both our fleet and our team, allowing us to support more projects while maintaining the high standards of safety, quality, and reliability our clients expect. These next steps reflect the trust placed in us by builders and partners we work with regularly.
We’re looking forward to what’s ahead and are proud of the steady growth we’re experiencing. As always, our focus remains on delivering well-planned, compliant electrical solutions and building long-term relationships across every project we’re involved in.

Another Childcare Project Underway in Tingalpa

We’re pleased to share that Electrid has commenced works on another childcare centre in Tingalpa, continuing our involvement in the early learning and education sector.
Childcare facilities require careful planning and a strong focus on safety, reliability, and compliance. Our scope includes power and lighting, emergency systems, and associated electrical infrastructure designed to support a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for children, educators, and families.
With multiple childcare projects now completed and underway, our team understands the specific requirements of these builds and works closely with builders and consultants to ensure smooth delivery and on-time outcomes. We’re proud to be contributing to essential community infrastructure across South East Queensland.

Expanding Our Capabilities: Electrical Fit-Out at Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre

We’re proud to share that Electrid is currently undertaking an electrical fit-out at the Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre, marking an exciting step forward in our growing portfolio of government and QBuild projects.
This project represents a new environment for our team and a valuable opportunity to apply our experience to a highly regulated and security-focused facility. Works include compliant electrical installations delivered to strict specifications, safety standards, and project timelines required within correctional facilities.
Being trusted to deliver works in this setting reflects our team’s capability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality outcomes. We’re proud to continue building strong relationships within the QBuild framework and look forward to expanding further into this space.
